The Talk Wins another Emmy

The Talk won it's 2nd Best Talk Show (Entertainment) Daytime Emmy award for the current 2017-2018 season. At the award ceremony, the award was announced over a show montage which had clips from a game I designed for our hosts to play with Cher.  You can watch the winning moment below at 2:22:41! We previously won 2 years ago in 2016. I am very excited.

Women's March Posters

I designed posters for the Women's March. I based them off of old Russian constructivist posters of the early 1917-1930s that featured amazing layout and limited but powerful color schemes. I wanted to update that style with current images and content. I am happy with the way they turned out so I wanted to share them.

The Talk Wins an EMMY!!!!

I am happy to report that my show The Talk won the Outstanding Talk Show Emmy at the 2015-2016 Daytime Emmy Awards! We were surprised and overjoyed. Here are some pictures of my Emmy plaque and a photo with the show's Emmy! Whooo-hooo!

Snoop Dogg on The Talk

We were lucky enough to have one of my favorite rappers Snoop Dogg on the Talk. He came with Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles and talked about his recent music and film projects. We designed the background screens as well as a "Pop Quizzle" game for him to play with our hosts.

Daniel Radcliffe on The Talk

Actor Daniel Radcliffe (of Harry Potter fame) came on The Talk to promote his film Victor Frankenstein. He is very affable and agreed to play a spooky monster game that our team created. He got so excited by our opening animation that he gave us a shout out live on the air!

Alanis Morrisette on The Talk

Hi I haven't updated the blog in a while because I've been too busy in my new job as the Lead Graphic Artist on CBS's daily talk show The Talk. My team and I design the show's motion graphics, games, viral clips, news elements and set screens which are displayed on 3 giant LED screens behind our hosts. I started back in August for the 2015-2016 season and we've been moving full speed ahead ever since. I wanted to post some of my favorite moments from the show this year.

In the autumn we had Alanis Morrisette on the show. She was promoting the 20th Anniversary version of her record-setting album Jagged Little Pill, that was definitely a soundtrack to some of my adolescent years. I was very excited that I got to design a look for her performance of mega-hit "Ironic." I wanted to reference the blues, purples and reds from her original album cover.

Watch the Maya Rudolph Show May 1

The Maya Rudolph show is coming to NBC on May 19th at 10PM after the finale of The Voice. I made the graphics for this special and was thrilled to work with Maya, Lorne Michaels, and their incredible team. Make sure you tune in for songs and skits and lots of laughs.
